I am a student in UMBC's M.A. program in Human Services Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as a graduate of the University of Rochester where I primarily focused on psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy. I plan to pursue my Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
I absolutely love to learn and am passionate about education. I've tutored high school students in calculus, algebra, trigonometry, English, chemistry, biology, physics and college/SAT-prep. I've also tutored elementary and middle school students in all subjects. If you're looking for a math and science tutor, then I'm your guy!
After receiving my undergraduate degree, I was a research aide at the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Behavioral Psychology Department, where I participated in various projects and particularly focused on parent education in terms of behavior issues.
During my undergraduate education, I spent time working as a writer for my university's newspaper and helping edit others' works. I was also a teaching assistant for a physiology laboratory course, which was where I discovered my love for teaching.
Learning shouldn't be a chore; it should be engaging and accessible. To that end, I am extremely prepared, patient, and understanding of the challenges that may come up during the learning process.
Outside of academia, I am interested in video game design and medieval architecture. I also enjoy embroidering and reading fantasy books.
