Peyton W. Avery, a third-year clarinet performance major at Oberlin College and Conservatory, is dedicated to using the arts to foster human connections. While focusing on a music performance career, he is also exploring higher education, arts administration, and music journalism. His studies in musicology and business complement his major, equipping him to navigate the music industry effectively. Throughout his time at Oberlin, Peyton has grown into a more open and engaging individual, embracing knowledge and storytelling to overcome self-doubt. In his free time, he enjoys reading, brewing specialty coffee, bowling, and more. He aims to create meaningful connections and contribute to the arts in a significant way.
