My name is Abhishek Pandey. I have obtained my BS in Applied Mathematics and MS in Quantitative and Computational Finance both from Georgia Institute of Technology and my MS in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. As a teacher I strongly believe that every student has unlimited potential which needs to be tapped and nurtured. Further it is my primary responsibility and objective to give personalized attention and assess the individual needs of my students to ensure that they achieve success in their academic journey and build a strong foundation for their future endeavors.
The students come from different level of competence/intelligence, diverse social, cultural & economic backgrounds and as teacher we have to be sensitive to this and ensure that there is no discrimination of any kind. The focus must be on effective teaching techniques, character building, motivating, and imparting knowledge, using the latest teaching tools and concepts. Last but not the least my educational philosophy entails building a very strong bond of friendship & mutual trust with the students, their parents, and also the teaching fraternity as a family.
I have previously worked for two years at School district of philadelphia, one year at Texans can academies and am currently working at IDEA Public schools bluff springs. In SDP I was working as a high school Algebra 1 teacher and after that at Texans can I worked as an algebra 1, Geometry and Financial Math teacher. Currently at IDEA Public Schools I am working as an AP Statistics, AP Calculus and AP Precalculus teacher as well as an academic mentor for STAAR Students in 9th grade.
I have taught at various levels including high school, undergraduate and graduate level students and occasionally middle school.
