As I enter my professional career, I hope to become a college math professor. I enjoy most math because I think of it like solving puzzles. In this way, math is essentially like a game to me. However, I know that math can be frustrating for many students, and so I enjoy helping others gain an understanding of it. I've tutored many students successfully in the past in areas from algebra to calculus and am always happy to do so.
I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in mathematics with a teaching certificate at Central Methodist University. My favorite subjects to tutor are Calculus 1 and Algebra 2 because they're both complex and simple. There are many steps involved in the problems within both subjects, but once one understands these steps, they can solve any problem.
My tutoring style involves working on practice problems based on your homework together so that you can try the homework problems on your own. If you have trouble understanding one approach, then I'll try to show you another as there are multiple ways of solving most math problems. I believe any student is capable of learning math, they just need to have the right attitude and the right teacher.

When not working or in school, I enjoy watching TV and playing video games, spending time with family and friends, and playing board games that involve a bit of strategy. On occasion, I also enjoy cooking and baking.
