"Love what you do, and you'll never work a day in your life." I heard these words for the first time at a friend's military commissioning. From that point forward, I wanted to find the thing that I loved. I worked as an interior designer for a few years after I graduated from college, and when I found that I didn't truly love it, I made a change. I am proud to be an educator. I have never looked back from my decision to be a teacher, and in my heart, I love what I do. I have worked with students from all backgrounds and abilities, and the one thing that remains constant is that when a student learns, that student is confident. It is my great desire to help students not only learn math, but to appreciate it. Math is in nature, and science, and music, and art. Math is the language used to write the world.
