"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."
This quote precisely describes my teaching philosophy. I have a doctorate degree from Syracuse University in Molecular Biology. For past eleven years I have been teaching various biology courses at different universities. My most important teaching tool is my multimedia approach to address the limitations with learning. Growing up in India, I hated the rote learning and therefore developed my new style of teaching which is not limited to boring lectures from textbooks only. If you are intimidated by the textbooks then I can certainly help you because I have been in your shoes once!
In addition to my love for biology and teaching, I love outdoors. During the beautiful summers, I am found venturing the most gorgeous state parks of NY trying to find fossils. A big part of my personality comes from my love for dancing. I am a trained Ballroom and Indian Classical dancer. This year's resolution is to learn and get better at Racquetball.
