I am teacher, tutor, world traveler, cook and avid supporter of learning foreign languages. My bachelor degrees in French and Communication followed by my Master of Arts degree in teaching have taken me from public relations to teaching abroad and back home where I have been a French teacher for the past three years. Having profited from experiences in parts of the francophone world including Canada, Belgium, France and Louisiana, and having taught a diverse range of learners from preschool to middle school and from beginner to proficient, I try to create an individualized plan for each student influenced by this diversity. I am also trained in the Accelerative Integrative Method (AIM) of teaching foreign language, which greatly influences my perspective of teaching through kinesthetic, drama and literary based instruction.
