Certified Tutor

My interest in being a resource for people who need additional support is a culmination of my experience with various communities. These include working with international students, tutoring young children, and working with children who have special needs. When I was sixteen years old, my parents and I moved to Panama City, Panama where I completed high school and spent an extra year working as a teacher's aide in a special education classroom. This set me on a five year trajectory in which I earned my bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences (Speech Language Pathology) from Portland State University. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a licensed Speech Language Pathologist or a Special Education teacher. However, no matter the profession, I believe each student not only has an individual learning style, but also has the ability to learn and succeed.
