I am currently an undergraduate student at Portland State University studying to become a deep ocean biologist. I have a passion for anything science related and love to teach others about what lives beneath the sea. I am an instructor for a science based summer camp where I teach the fundamentals of science to K-5 students. My favorite part about my job is showing how exciting the world is around us when you dive in deep enough. I love relating subjects like math and physics to the real world to encourage students to want to learn more. When I have some free time, I like to go on hikes and study the various mushroom and plant species native to the Pacific Northwest in all their biological glory.
