I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in May and recently moved to Washington state. I have several years of STEM tutoring experience through my college. I was a math tutor for college and high school students. I later became a Supplemental Instruction Leader (SIL) for Calculus and Organic Chemistry with the STEM student support center. In this position, I designed my own sessions that focused on student-led, interactive, group study sessions to improve comprehension of class material.

I believe in creating very comfortable learning sessions which allow students the freedom to explore concepts and discover their own answers. It is a very empowering activity.

Another passion of mine is writing. I have explored writing through advanced coursework and public presentations of my works. I have been complemented many times for my original voice and highly organized essays. I also enjoy writing and editing for others and would love to do so through this site.

Something very important to know about me is I love to laugh. So, if you see me, tell me a joke :).
