"* I helped the student understand and fill out an assignment sheet regarding 1800's artists. * We worked our way through the new vocabulary list of approximately 70 words. * He already knew almost half of them, so we defined the rest."
"We prepared for the test: Covered culture topics, the present subjunctive, command verbs, and the difference between 'por' vs. 'para'. She is doing very well and her Spanish pronunciation and understanding improves every day."
"During this session, we prepared for the student's upcoming vocabulary and grammar quiz. We studied vocabulary words. First, translating Spanish to English. Later, I had him translate English to Spanish. Once he had a good handle on that, I gave him a vocabulary quiz. We corrected it together - he pronounced all of the words in Spanish and spelled each of the words out loud. He did an excellent job and seems very prepared for the vocabulary portion of the quiz. There were four words that he needed to do some extra work with. His homework was to review those four words at least three times and then review, once again, the entire vocabulary list (translating from English words to Spanish). We quickly reviewed the grammar lesson, which he understands."
