During this session, we finished the chapter on muscle physiology by discussing the different diseases affecting muscles. The student didn't have any problems understanding this subject. I also emphasized major points to study that I had mentioned in previous sessions. I could really tell he was progressing with this subject. The rest of the session ranged over subjects like serum and hemoglobin, and various pathologies of the blood, such as anemia and sickle cell anemia. Some portion of that time was also spent on study strategies for her. Here, we decided the best course of action would be to focus first on the test bank questions, and only move to the book after the test bank questions had been mastered.
