"The student and I did his homework which involved vocabulary related to the house. First we practiced a little bit with notecards, and then he had to write a 9-10 sentence paragraph describing his own house. While he told me he had already done it, it turns out he had used an online translator to do so. Not only was it full of mistakes, he couldn't remember what he wanted it to say, so I tried to explain to him both the ethical and grammatical problems with online translators. We then wrote the entire paragraph from scratch."
"Worked with homework exercises on the preterit vs. the imperfect past tense in Spanish, including irregular preterits. Also covered some vocabulary related to cars/travel and technology."
"The student wanted to review and practice for her Spanish 2 test. Her teacher had given the students a list of grammar and vocabulary items to know for the test. The list included the preterite tense, demonstrative adjectives, and sports related vocabulary. We used the practices in her test book for the review. She did very well in all areas of the practice and review."
"We reviewed all new content from the last session and homework and practiced it using writing and verbal exercises. The student is going to do by himself a couple more assignments from the book we are using for now."
"We reviewed all our previous lessons completely, including the -ar, -er, and -ir verbs, their endings, translations, and vocabulary. We went from Chapter 4 to Chapter 10 in the textbook. At this point, I feel the student is back on track with his studies, and we are making good progress. I also taught him 2 new verbs, ir and venir."
"We reviewed and practiced what we have studied so far, and then did more practice with adjectives. We read a page of the chapter book. Student one is making nice progress. I also worked with student two on the same items that we have covered with student one."
