Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today the student and I reviewed the chapter notes for long-lived assets. We went over the examples in the chapter, focusing on depreciation methods, capitalizing vs. expensing, capitalization of interest costs, effect of capitalization on ratios and cash flow, and internal development costs. Next week we will meet to continue reviewing these notes."
"Today, the student and I discussed his goals and previous learning strategies, and then we dived in to review his units on Human Resource Management (demographic changes, labor mobility, etc.), Crisis Management (contingency planning, competing incentives in the process, etc.), and Budgeting (a detailed example of variance analysis in a corporate budget)."
"Today we reviewed all of his exam 2 information regarding: depreciation methods, bulk purchasing, cash flows, net realizable value and change of estimates. The student showed his understanding of topics that we have previously covered. We went over his entire exam review, which consisted of 36 multiple choice questions. I gave him some key equations that might be helpful for him to remember for the exam."
