Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered quantifiers, rules of inference, and proof techniques for his logic class. He was having some trouble with normalizing a couple of proof equations with a "given universe." I was able to coach him and give him some examples that helped him work through the 2 problems. It was obvious throughout the session he had a pretty good understanding of the material just needed someone to guide him through the process."
"The student and I covered 2D design portfolios and computer aided design. We determined a plan to complete her graphic design college application in a timely fashion."
"The student went over her homework for the HTML/CSS assignment. We got through a large part of the subject. We will pick up where we left off at the next session."
"The student gave me an idea of what she wanted to accomplish with the Shutterfly program. I am currently working on scanning the original documents and putting them into a Shutterfly template for her perusal."
"Today we explored the finite features of Adobe Illustrator by locking a picture into place and outlining the "hard" features of the picture. We then reviewed how the "eye drop" tool allows one to see-at any given point-the real color (RGB) of the picture in order to translate this into a paint brush stroke, which ultimately makes the picture look animated. Great session!"
"In this session, the student and I continued our work with editing graphs in different ways. Today we practiced adding or deleting data from your table and adjusting the axes so that they are properly labeled."
