Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we covered a math packet that was given to the student for review. The packet contained questions about exponents, equations of the line, geometry, and logarithms. Our next meeting will be on 04/22 at 5 pm."
"We did a series of homework problems and I explained to her the chapter in the book that her teacher was not there to teach. She went in not understanding anything about the topic but by the time she was done she was able to do the problems on her own. These problems included factorials, summation of series, and other equations involving series and sequences. At the end of doing her homework we did some extra practice problems so that she could fully grasp these concepts."
"We went over homework problems involving vectors. By the end of the session, the student was able to solve the problems correctly."
"We completed a test online going over interpreting graphs, finding the equation of a functions and understanding shifting."
"We covered review of polar function problems. The material is pretty difficult, but after some example problems and function review, I think the student will be fine for his exam. We also went over strategies for reviewing for his exam."
"The student and I reviewed his last math exam. It is a precalculus curriculum (odd/even functions, graphs, domains, ranges, asymptotes). We discussed the definitions of each term and tricks for graphing. We also covered inverse and composite functions. The student was able to correct all of his mistakes."
