"We covered unit conversions and solving for how much medicine to give patients. We went over knowing when to convert units and how to interpret the word problems. He has the rest of the chapter problems to apply what I taught him."
"Worked through basics of conic sections (circles, parabolas). The student is doing well with the material."
"We covered the substitution rule for integration and worked through several exercises which became progressively more difficult. Starting with showing why the anti-derivative of a function f(x) dx is not the same as the anti-derivative a substituted function where (u = 1/2x) say, f(2u) dx because the dx has to be substituted by a du plus some factor. We did this in the later exercises where some of the functions were fairly complex. The student has a good grasp on what it takes to learn this challenging process to become proficient."
"Today was our last day. We worked on review and inequalities. She was a great student who is very smart."
"We reviewed his homework together. He is smart. The two focuses is helping him to enjoy the math and making sure he has the basic concepts."
"We continued the preparation for the second part of his trigonometry test, the calculator portion of it."
