"This was my first lesson with the student and it went very well. He had sent me a lot of diagnostic material from his test prep course, so I had a heads up on how he was doing. From what I could tell, and he confirmed this, he doesn't have one specific section that is more troublesome than others, he just needs some overall improvement in all areas. I started by having him talk me through how he is feeling about his LSAT status right now and what he feels he needs to work on most. We decided to start with logic games, specifically grouping games since these are the trickiest for him. We worked through two full games, and I gave him some new strategies for diagramming and setting up the games that should help his time and capabilities. We then talked some more about how he should be practicing over the next couple of weeks. I told him to try and get in a section per day, and to make sure that he doesn't fall behind on reading comp since we probably won't be working on that too much together. Overall it was a great session and he seems like he will be a hard-working student."
"We reviewed flaws and NA which are coming along well, and we did some logic games, even complex ones, that are coming along even better. She is getting very adept at seeing complicated inferences!"
"Worked on Logic Games, did several practice problems. Student showed improvement on problem solving abilities and question strategies, though more practice is necessary to cement these skills."
