Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I had a very productive session going over the processes of Transcription and Translation. He maintained a strong attention span and did well, answering most if not all of my quiz questions correctly. He had questions that went slightly above and beyond the topics into more detail, which he quickly grasped. He has all the tools to excel on his upcoming final and get a 5 on the test if he sticks to our methods and keeps up the good work. Please let me know about a future session as needed."
"The student has begun the oscillations unit, so we talked briefly about 2nd-order differential equations. Then we worked on a problem set about spring-mass oscillators. He picks up the material very quickly."
"We worked on the student's physics problems and MOPs questions. She is working on incline planes and angle related forces. She is doing well on the problems. I believe that all she needs is some practice and she will be just fine."
"The student was working with rotational kinematics, and we worked on how to break down the information in problems, and set it up with the kinematic equations to come to a solution."
"Today, the student and I worked on properties of water-polarity, specific heat, solvent, adhesion, cohesion, and hydrogen bonding. We also looked at basic chemistry, proton, electrons, atoms, compounds, isotopes, isomers, ions, bonding, protein structure, and enzyme reactions. She was very advanced. She asked good questions and worked well."
"This was our first AP Physics review session. We covered torque and angular acceleration homework. Please bring old exams, quizzes and the syllabus to the next session so we can properly identify areas for improvement."
