Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered Chapter 14, which discussed the market for inputs. This is similar to a regular supply and demand illustration of markets, except in this case the firms are the buyers (demanders) of labor, land, and capital, and the workers/landlords/capitalists are the suppliers. We covered related concepts including surplus and shortage, monopsony (where there is one firm buying labor) and outsourcing. Tomorrow morning we will cover chapter 15."
"The student and I reviewed her last week's notes. Primary focuses were fiscal policy and monetary policy. We reviewed the math behind the MPC Multiplier. We went over potential test questions and the key ideas she will need to focus on for her final tomorrow. She is a good student; it's just a lot of material. She wants to do well in the subject and is solid on a number of the areas, she just wants assistance when reviewing the material. She was a pleasure to work with, and I'd be glad to help her in the future if she needs assistance."
"In today's session, the student and I discussed his upcoming exam and final. He is extremely prepared for both of them. He has done a tremendous job of listening to my advice and applying it to his studies."
