"Today we reviewed for an upcoming assessment in Math, including the concepts of multiplying decimals and volume. We went over decomposing figures to find the volume. We focused on building his confidence and skill on multiplying decimals and finding volume using the volume formula of cubes and rectangular prisms."
"Today was spent reviewing for his quiz and chapter test that will be later this week. We went through review packets that he had and he was able to do the problems correctly as well as explain how he was doing the problems each step of the way. I made a few review pages that dealt with word problems with two unknowns and solving two variable equations using the elimination, substitution, and graphing method."
"The student was studying for his test. He worked problems to find the volume of a pyramid and a prism. Then he worked problems finding volume of a cylinder and cone. He did a good job."
"The student was positive in understanding how to solve exponential equations with logarithms. The change of base formula was a little challenging to him at first, but he grasped it with more practice. I used material from his textbook and materials I use in my ALG2 classroom, as I felt his book went from easy problem to a hard problem. I asked and he felt pretty confident with the lesson and practice problems we did today."
"Today, the student and I reviewed the problems from a quiz that he was given. We also reviewed some practice problems in preparation for his exam tomorrow. This includes creating a given concentration from a certain solution and diluent. He did well today, as usual. I will send him supplemental notes for this session, as there were a couple of problems that involved quite a bit of critical thinking."
"We reviewed most of the material covering series and sequences. This included different ways to express arithmetic and geometric sequences and how to determine what kind they are. We also covered how to find partial sums and sums of infinite convergent geometric series. We also went over Pascal's triangle and the binomial theorem."
