Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we went through Charles' law, Boyle's law and describing each gas law based on theory instead of mathematical equation. The student did not require much help."
"In today's session, we discussed making and breaking bonds; types of bonds; and the differentiation between compounds, molecules and molecular bonds. We began with reading the chapters and sections given. She needs to complete the chapter and section summaries. I gave her supplement material over bonds in my personal book."
"We covered topics in chemistry that included equilibrium, acids and bases, and reduction and oxidation."
"We covered a lot of topics. We went through transitioning methods of detecting exoplanets, stars and their evolution, gravitational microlensing, and detection of planets via pulsars' radiation."
"The student and I went over review sheets for his upcoming math test. The problems were all triangle trigonometry related and relied heavily on the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines. We walked through the process of solving a generic triangle given 3 pieces of information. We also considered the ambiguous case where 0, 1, or 2 triangles could be produced from the given information. We then did some work on vector problems involving directions and bearings."
"We continued preparing for her AP Physics exam. We reviewed Newton's laws, force components, and kinematics in 2-dimensions. We made good progress and the student was able to work through some a few exercises during the session correctly, I left her with a kinematic problem in 2-dimensions to practice."
