"The student and I had a good session. His Ochem 1 final is Friday. We did a really quick overview to compare his test grades so far this semester."
"The student and I had a great first session! We first began by identifying problem areas, and where he gets confused. The tactic we used for this session was to make sure that he was accurately discussing the topics at hand. We moved on to a review sheet provided by his teacher. Question-by-question, we went through any concepts that he did not understand. He first provided me information that he knows, then I provided either more detail, clarification, or how to make the answer more concise. We covered about half of the material in the first day! I advised him to continue to study before our next session, and complete as much of the homework as possible. That way, we can make the best use of time. Overall, I was satisfied with the progress made in our initial session."
