Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on some chemistry problems involving the concept of moles, solubility rules, and stoichiometry. We also reviewed similar triangles in geometry."
"Worked through homework on acid base reactions together. Talked about study skills and finishing overdue project. Introduced naming conventions and reviewed aqueous solutions/dissociation."
"The student is learning about acids and bases in class today, so I taught him about Arrhenius and Bronsted-Lowry theories of acids and bases, then explained the exponential nature of the pH scale."
"We worked together on questions the student had from his quiz covering almost all of the material so far. He has a good intuition of how to approach the problems. See you next Tuesday"
"We covered various types of reactions, acid rain, and organic chemistry. We went over problems from her practice test, and I made up additional problems to strengthen her understanding. I did not give extra practice since her test is on Saturday. I feel like she learned some methods that she didn't know before and will hopefully come in handy during the exam."
"Today we discussed acid base chemistry and equilibrium and worked out various problems that use the equations. The student will be practicing these types of problems at home and will come back next week with any questions that he may have."
