Avondale, AZ Finance tutoring
The student and I had a great session, and she found that the discussion we had (referring to the explanations and analysis of the case details) to be valuable. We focused on the "Bayern Brauerei" case, and reviewed five questions related to the following: The evaluation and revision of the company's ROI; the evaluation and revision of the company's break-even point; the evaluation and interpretation of the company's operating leverage; the evaluation of the company's current dividend payout ratio status; and the evaluation of the incentive plan for one of the executives. The overall discussion and decisions were based upon a number of assumptions including the company's status of accounts receivables, their collection and aging policy, and high levels of debt. I provided several resources, and will also forward a set of notes. I will also follow up with her regarding one of the questions pertaining to the potential B/E point adjustment.
