Today we worked on the usage of pronouns and the conjugation of vivir, salir, and ir. I tried to simulate a few conversations with him in Spanish while working on the pages from his notebook. He also read all of the notebook exercises to me in Spanish. We then spent the rest of the session playing different memorization games to memorize the newest set of vocab and the flash cards. Next session, the student will read some excerpts from the Spanish magazines in the library to me so I can begin helping him with his pronunciation.

This session the student and I wrapped up all unfinished questions and really made a push to get through as many of the sections as we could in order to make sure we had everything down. I told him to do one more essay before his test to keep fresh and to really cram as much vocab as possible. This was our last SAT session but the student plans to take the ACT and says he would like to start the week after next studying for that.

Today we were working on gas laws. The actual math is what trips her up more often than the formulas and how to apply them. She's getting much better and more comfortable with stoichiometry and conversions, which I think is helping her with the formulas because she can see more clearly what the relationship is.
