Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered one of the student's homework assignments today. He just wanted to walk over some of the questions and make sure that he was answering them completely. He had a good understanding of the homework assignment!"
"We went over exchange rates, the nominal exchange rates, and real exchange rates today. We then covered purchasing power parity, national income identity, net capital outflow, net exports, and national savings."
"This was our first meeting in a few weeks, so we reviewed some of the material that she has been working on and also began reviewing some of the material that will be on her upcoming midterm."
"We reviewed compound interest, future value, and present value. As a visually impaired learner, the student mostly just needs assistance with the practical aspects of learning. Besides the practical aspects, she is a very capable learner! The student came to today's session with a great attitude about covering her school material! I included a quick guide to help her convert her stock ratios. The student is planning to complete the last three questions of her math homework by herself before our next session. The student seemed to come to our session with a renewed sense of motivation to complete her work. Nice job!"
"The student and I had a productive session, and our focus again was on cost accounting problems. He did an excellent job! The questions covered job costing evaluation methods and calculations of direct and indirect rates, and the application of those rates to actual hours and scenarios. He also learned more about the benefits of multiple "bases" of rates for accuracy."
"We reviewed the following topics: Trial Balance, Worksheet, Financial Statements, Adjustments, Accruals, Adjusting Journal Entries, Closing Entries and Adjusted Trial Balance. I left the student with a practice problem involving Adjusted Trial Balance, Preparation of Financial Statements, and Closing Entries. The student is showing a good understanding of the material. Productive session."
