Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
Progress Achieved: The student successfully completed an ACT Reading test with a score of 33. The student can now successfully complete many of the types of problems in the ACT Math section."
The student and I finished going over the science section we had started during our last session. She did very well, missing only 1 question in 4 passages. We also worked on one English passage for practice before reviewing the mini ACT she had taken. We then started working on a reading section from another practice test.
The student and I went over a reading section she had taken at school, going over the questions she had missed and discussing what the answers were and why. We then reviewed the mini ACT. She is still having some trouble with word problems, so we also worked on some of the math worksheets I had given her earlier. She has improved a great deal, and I believe that she is more than capable of earning her goal score of 24. I think that her greatest challenges is going to be setting aside her anxieties long enough to really demonstrate her potential."
