Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We had a very productive session of verbal storytelling and worked again on describing the events of a day or week."
"We spoke a lot about living in the city and his trips to the Himalayas in the past. This was a normal lesson with a lot of speaking and comprehension."
"We reviewed with quizzes. We earned colors, days of the week, and adjectives (along with agreement.) Great progress was made."
"The student translated (very well) a text about Berlin. We then revisited expressions in the dative case. We used some of them in a conversation. I will send him another two paragraphs to read through and translate as homework."
"The student was reviewing basic grammatical rules about the 4 cases in German, as well as basic chatting in German about her travels, hobbies, and recent move and new work environment. She liked trying to speak freely about any subject and asked me to help her only once she felt stuck. She seemed very engaged as well as happy to improve her German. She started writing down new learned material and wants to start a vocabulary list. She has some homework for next Monday. It was a fun 1.5 hour and passed by quickly."
"The student's spoken German continues to improve markedly. We reviewed the end of Chapter 9 in Klaro then looked at the first 3 pages of Chapter 10 on verbs. Then, we returned to Die Physiker and read up to the bottom of p. 22."
