Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed Statistics terminology and studied methods of displaying data. The student was able to recall the basic definition from last week and I will assign her a few problems this week."
"The student and I had our final review for the AP Statistics test today. We finished going through some practice free response questions, then continued with practice multiple choice questions, focusing especially on probability."
"The student and I continued working through examples of hypothesis testing. I felt she really understood the process today and knew how to interpret the results without using a set formula."
"Today we covered the introduction to sequences and series. I also made corrections to a test the student took a while ago, and had to retake."
"Today the student and I reviewed her math homework about calculating the perimeter of triangles. She grasps the concept of perimeter easily, but I want her to review adding numbers with decimals. We also worked on her English presentation on Mexican cuisine. Once again, her artistic tendencies were obvious; she very clearly has an eye for design. I want her to keep working on her comma placement as she finishes the school year. Overall it was a great day!"
"The student and I went over her homework due tomorrow together. We went over problems dealing with midpoints, distances, and parabolas. I will do my best to make math as approachable and exciting as I can as we move forward. We will meet again on Wednesday."
