How can a Anatomy tutor help you?

The body is a complex organism with many interwoven parts and functions. In anatomy, you will be tasked with learning about everything the body can do, and while it will be an interesting academic period, it could prove to be difficult. Varsity Tutors could help you find an anatomy tutor near Waltham, MA. While anatomy may be a lot of memorization, a tutor will work to teach you tips and tricks that could help you keep the ulna and the femur separate.

Anatomy may not be the easiest subject to learn. There are no simple ways to understand the subject, because it involves knowing the difference between the nervous system's synapses and the circulatory system's capillaries. Varsity Tutors' educational directors can find you an anatomy tutor in Waltham who can work at your pace. Perhaps one of the best parts of having a personal tutor is the ability to work on the content that you need specific help with. You don't have to learn at the same pace at your peers, so long as you have a tutor that can guide you through the subject. Your anatomy tutor will be an experienced tutor who has a passion for anatomy and will want to see you succeed. Each session, you will be presented with original coursework that will directly address the areas in which you have problems.

Anatomy Tutoring review by Josie in Waltham, MA
The student and I prepared for her upcoming physics and algebra two test. She wanted to cover some algebra two stuff so she would be ready for her test, and we spent about ten minutes on it. She knew the material really well and just needed a few clarifications. We then spent the rest of the time going over physics problems, primarily spending the time on 2 dimensional collisions involving momentum. We also started to prepare for her physics final, and brought it back to the beginning of the quarter with velocity versus time graphs and finding distance, acceleration, and time. A great and very encompassing lesson!

Anatomy Tutoring review by Mahir in Waltham, MA
Today, the student and I focused on physics since she has an exam in that tomorrow. Her test is all on forces and friction on horizontal and angled slopes. It deals with plenty of vectors and trigonometry. She grasped the material very well, but made a few errors. By the end, she was getting used to spotting those errors before she even made them. She also sometimes got lost in all of the numbers and variables. I showed her a step by step solution that should help her find her way back to what she needs to solve for when she gets lost. We then moved on to algebra 2 since her test on that is next Wednesday. It deals with analyzing and manipulating polynomials, especially through special functions on the graphing calculator. We went over the gist of the material so she understands generally what is happening. We'll focus more on that next week. I finally spent the last 15 minutes of the session helping her sister with Algebra for linear equations.

Anatomy Tutoring review by Christine in Waltham, MA
We clarified when and when not to use the parallel axis theorem. We then looked at problems involving simple harmonic motion, Kepler's laws, and conservation of energy. He is feeling better about rotational motion, and periodic motion. He felt well going over the next review test on his own.

The session focused on the review for the test that the student would be taking tomorrow over waves. We went over the review information and discussed waves and their properties as well as how to calculate wavelength, frequency, and speed as well as the various types of waves. She has scored very well on her last two tests and has raised her grade up to a 65 which is 5 percentage points away from her goal of a 70.

In this section I was reviewing the student's project in physics about a Rube Goldberg project. We went through various parts of his project and explained how those projects portrayed physical laws like Newton's laws, momentum, impulse and energy. The student was needed help with understanding how each concept came into real life. I left him to finish his project.

Anatomy Tutoring review by David in Waltham, MA
We spent the majority of today's session reviewing the gait cycle and discussing how to break down each phase. We reviewed eccentric and concentric contractions and how they affected each movement. Additionally, we spent time reviewing evaluation techniques for the cervical spine and common pathologies encountered. It would be beneficial for us to continue reviewing concentric vs eccentric contraction in the gait cycle as this concept was harder to grasp. The student continues to be very motivated to learn the content as opposed to simply memorizing it. She has a busy next month, but is taking the content one day at a time which has proved to be helpful thus far. I am very pleased with her progress and believe that she will excel in her program.
