Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During my session with the student, we reviewed the diagnostic exam she had taken prior to the session as well as some advanced linear and grouping games. She has improved on logical reasoning. Next, we worked on the remaining two games of a logic games section we had started in our previous session. Prior to the July 4th weekend, I have asked her to complete a third diagnostic."
"The student and I worked on pacing drills. He ordinarily has no problem finishing a section within the allotted and very rarely, if ever skips questions. Overall a good session."
"We reviewed several LSAT Logic Games and also reviewed a series of "Strengthening/ Weakening" questions. We also reviewed a number of LSAT questions that arose between classes from homework."
"The student and I went over a few key questions. We focused mostly on organic chemistry and trigonometry."
"This was our final session of tutoring together. She is taking her exam tomorrow so we just did a random review of the Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Math sections to brush up on a few last-minute concepts and keep her brain fresh. She is going to do light studying for the rest of the day in order to give herself a mental break before taking the test. Overall, she seems pretty comfortable with her preparation for the exam and is ready to take it."
"We worked on reviewing electrolytic and galvanic cells. We discussed how salt bridges work. We discussed emf and how you calculate emf. We worked on questions from the physical science flash card database. We also discussed cathode vs. anode and reduction vs. oxidation. We talked about metabolism and discussed glycolysis and the Krebs cycle. We also discussed Gibbs free energy and looked at enthalpy and entropy."
