"First, we covered circuits and capacitance. Specifically, we covered Ohm's law, Joule heating and power, series and parallel circuits, combination circuits, and resistance-capacitance circuits. Then, we covered some topics in modern physics. Specifically, we covered the definition of the quantum (photons, the charge on electron, etc.), the relationship between frequency, wavelength, and c, the relationship between frequency and the energy of a photon, Planck's constant, the electromagnetic spectrum, the photoelectric effect, Bohr's model of the atom, electron excitation and relaxation, emission spectra, the Rutherford scattering experiment and the overthrow of the Plum Pudding model of the atom, the wavelength of matter and the momentum of light, and radioactive decay (alpha, beta, and gamma). For extra practice, I asked the student to try the review questions and exam practice questions I created for the topics we covered."
