"We worked mostly on math, dealing with roots and exponents. We reviewed the rules for operations on exponents. We also did and introduction to new physics concepts dealing with rotation. We discussed some necessary trigonometry and circle geometry, as well as a few physical concepts dealing with rotation."
"The student had a test on Tuesday that we prepared for. The topic was momentum, work, and energy. We went through some PowerPoints and practice problems before testing her knowledge with additional problems. One key issue is remembering units. The problems are often not difficult. There were some troubling problems, but on the whole, she understood them, and had access to the solutions."
"We covered potential and kinetic energy of harmonic motion, springs, and electric charge. The student asked good questions and was willing to learn new concepts, while plugging in values along the way. I included a strategy for how to visualize phase angle shifts. The student was able to understood phase angle shifts better."
