I am a graduate from New York Law. I am heavily interested in Finance, Law, and Politics.I have been tutoring the Law School Admissions exam since 2017 and have had many successful students. I have studied using many different test prep companies, and I believe in putting an emphasis on methodology and test taking strategies. I also have access to every test administered by the LSAC. I have an abundance of material to work on from previous administrations.All my students will receive LSAT tutoring but also help with the application process and with law school. After my students have taken their exams, we begin with constructing the application for acceptance and finally I have plenty of law videos and outlines to help get students prepared for their first year of law school.

I've been teaching for 10 years.My aim is really to help lower the anxiety students feel while taking a math class. I ascribe to the philosophy of Mathematical Mindset, the belief that good math will cause people to struggle (a little) and that people's brains grow when they struggle. I want to show students that math is not something to fear or dislike. I don't believe in rote memorization of formulas - I teach to provide students with conceptual understanding so they see the "why" instead of just "how," they can see how math topics build on each other, and that they develop their number sense.I love playing sports, particularly baseball, volleyball, tennis, basketball. I participate in the performing arts where I sing, dance, and act. I also play the piano (moderately well). One of my biggest passions is my love for table top board games and role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics this past December (2019) from the University of Texas at Dallas. I worked freelance as an online math tutor for students between sixth and tenth grade, starting in 2015. Math was a strong subject for me during my years in school, and seeing that math is a topic that students often struggle with, I enjoy the opportunity to use my skills to help others achieve their goals. I started tutoring in person during my senior year of high school and shifted to online tutoring sessions throughout college with students from around the state, with many coming from international families. I personally enjoy tutoring students because it's an opportunity to help them develop their skills and confidence in math and in day to day life. Since then, I have continued to invest a lot of time in tutoring and teaching. In high school, I volunteered my time as a member of the National Honor Society and homework help with with my five younger siblings has always been my responsibility. Now as an undergraduate at The Macaulay Honors College at The City College of New York, I tutor at the Math Center and am enthusiastic about tutoring with Varsity Tutors! What differentiates me from other tutors is my accommodating teaching style and adaptability. For those who cannot stand the subject they are struggling with, I show them the subject's relevance in their life. For those who need more in depth explanations, I show them derivations.
