Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We worked on a packet and studied material in the textbook. We worked very efficiently and effectively. The attitude was very interested towards the material."
"Today, the student and I finished our review of the Reformation/Counter-Reformation/Wars of Religion period of European History and moved on to the next unit. He has greatly improved his memory and understanding of this period, which had initially given us some trouble. Our plan is to meet again Monday to continue reviewing the 17th and 18th centuries, specifically the concepts of Absolutism, Constitutionalism in England, and the Enlightenment. My goal is to review with him up through the French Revolution by the time his Spring Break has ended. Additionally, I have noticed a drastic improvement in his ability to read questions slowly and to talk me through his elimination of multiple choice answers."
"Today, we laid the groundwork for what will be a more in-depth discussion of fascism and WWII in our next session. I incorporated some primary source material for the student to analyze, and I think he enjoyed the shake up a bit. Next session, we will continue our discussion about fascism and WWII and continue reviewing for the AP exam."
