The student and I reviewed again the properties of multiplying/dividing/adding/subtracting functions, and primarily the composition of two functions. He struggles understanding the composition of 2 functions, but by the end of our session I felt he understood it better. He was able to perform the composition of functions by himself without any input from me. It is vital that he reviews the notes I left with him and continues to practice the composition of functions. His review of those notes and his practice will be essential to him grasping these concepts and honing them.

The student worked on his homework, which covered areas of regular polygons. This involved many concepts and analytical thinking. We also calculated his grade with relation to his possible final grades, figuring out how he could best keep or improve his overall grade. The ultimate goal is to review all of the geometry material, and keep the concepts on the forefront of his mind.
