Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today's session was spent working on more electrostatic questions. We looked at Coulomb's law and the student worked on problems involving its application. He also went through several practice problems and we developed strategies for determining the force generated by charges."
"This session the student and I reviewed the right hand rules, and then went through an in-depth discussion of Lenz's and Faraday's laws. The student initially had some difficulty with Lenz's law, but after a discussion of flux and derivatives the confusion seemed to clear up. We discussed Faraday's law and ran through two example problems. The first was a very basic current loop problem, and the second was a more complex word problem concerning MRI machines. All in all the session was very productive. She and I are scheduling an extra meeting this week to prepare for her test."
"In this session, we worked on the law of universal gravitation. We started by discussing the various concepts presented in this lesson; The law itself, orbital mechanics, tides, and escape velocity. After that, he worked some practice problems from each section."
