Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered over basic strategies of the exam and tips in saving time. We covered her weakest subject: mathematics. She forgot most of the simple algebra concepts and must review them before moving on to trigonometry."
"We worked very hard at math yesterday, focusing on her weaker areas such as factoring, word problems, and simplifying. We corrected problems she had worked on the previous session then used several tools on the website to solidify these concepts. At the end I had her complete more practice test problems while timing her. She got her initial scores back from the trial round test she took this month and got a 22, up from the 18 she had on the PACT. Math and Science are still the biggest issues, around 20, with English and Reading falling around a 25. On the March 3 test she will have extended time which should contribute to her score. She is planning to continue taking tests in the spring and summer. We will meet twice next week before the March 3 test."
"Today's session went very well. The student has shown demonstrable excellence in math and science, with an ear for the written word and English syntax. I think now we will begin focusing on more long form practice (full sections). I look forward to our next session!"
