Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we reviewed what the student is learning in Math and did his homework, and also studied for his History test. He still had a chapter left to study in History when our 2 hours were up but he is a strong history student and felt confident with it."
"Client lost his math book. He sent 20 minutes attempting to print out the required pages for his assignment. We finished his book work. I had to re-teach how to convert ratios into percentages and percentages of increase/decrease. He understands how to evaluate once it is set up but still struggles setting it up for himself."
"We continued to work on trigonometry. We reviewed 2 quizzes and worked through the law of sines and cosines. Also used the unit circle to discuss Pythagorean identities, and worked through the distance formula."
"The student and I covered the basics of integration and discussed the rules of integration. We solved practice homework problems before discussing integration of log and exponential functions as part of the next section. We will meet for a longer period next week to further cover the material."
"The student reported that he did fine on his last test, but I still wanted him to show me how to work through each concept. His confidence is great!"
"The student and I reviewed verbs and concepts covered in Chapter 4 of his textbook, including "aller de + infinitive" and "venir de + infinitive." We then reviewed conjugations of regular and some irregular verb forms. He also read several exercises from the book out loud for comprehension and familiarization. His mother reported that his grade went up after our first meeting, and she was pleased."
