Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We studied for the student's upcoming test, which mostly covers money, monetary policy, and the Fed. The Keynesian model of consumption and various types of multipliers (tax multiplier, investment multiplier, money multiplier, etc.) were a particular focus."
"The student and I had a great session, and we worked through a practice quiz to assist her as she completes her accounting course. She received 100%! The accounting topics focused on a wide variety of concepts including the principles and foundations of accounting, items found within an income statement vs. balance sheet, the construction of the statement of cash flows under the indirect method, the basics of debits and credits (and normal balances), and journal and adjusting entries, as well as financial ratios (primarily the price earnings ratio). A quick review of items included in the income statement and total assets area of the balance sheet was needed, and the construction of the operating section of the cash flow statement was also a bit challenging, but I believe the practice was helpful and she will be able to remember the format. We will also review this again even if the question is not presented in the next quiz."
"We reviewed income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows formatting. We also reviewed profit margin, asset turnover, return on assets, return on equity, current ratio, quick ratio, times interest earned and liabilities to equity. Finally, we reviewed accounting equation, T-accounts, recording transactions, and posting entries to T-accounts."
