Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we worked on thermal expansion and conductivity in preparation for an exam. We did several practice problems, and I left her with some extra things to review. Once started, the student doesn't seem to have any trouble getting the right answer. We also discussed strategies for multi-step problems."
"Today we prepared for the student's exam tomorrow. The problems from homework sets 3, 4, and 5 represented the material that would be covered. First, we reviewed some questions from homework 3. These questions represented fairly basic FBD type problems, covering concepts such as friction, angles, tension, and inclined planes. As we covered homework 5 last time, we felt better focusing next on homework 4. This problem set expanded on concepts in homework 3, such as pulleys, mass systems, and static friction. He will continue to prepare for his exam tomorrow."
"We reviewed the student's lecture on electrical potential and potential difference. We then moved on to circuits, where we covered how to calculate equivalence capacitance and charge for capacitors in both series and parallel. We finished by reviewing a practice quiz her professor posted online."
