Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"His exam is Monday so we did some problems to get him ready. He did most of them on his own and I just checked to make sure that he was on the right track. He is comfortable and confident with the information. We spent the last 20 minutes going through more closed circuit problems. I left him with one problem to work on for when we meet next week."
"Tonight we reviewed for the student's test. She took great initiative with her work and worked through the problems predominately on her own, pausing to ask me questions or to clarify concepts. She did a fantastic job. She struggles particularly with deciding where to put her angle on the FBD. I explained to her that if the problem says anything about the horizontal when referring to the angle that this means that she should put the angle off of the x axis. We worked diligently through the review packet up until the final problem that dealt with rotating the axis of the force diagram. We completed a few extra problems that did not involve rotating an axis. I think that after tonight's session she should do fantastic on her test with regards to the concepts we studied. She displayed a great understanding of the topics."
"We covered thermodynamics concepts such as internal energy and entropy. We also reviewed the ideal gas law and the different properties associated with them. We also reviewed some questions the student had sent me."
