Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We continued doing the review problems assigned by her professor. She is going to work on as much of it as she can tonight and we will most likely meet again tomorrow before her exam."
"Went over some book problems. She knows how to solve the problems. Going to have a quiz tomorrow, so we'll go over that next time I see her."
"We went over the student's review for her calculus test on Wednesday. We also went over the word problems and optimization."
"During this session we covered both Algebra 2 and Chemistry. In algebra we went over equations of conics. More specifically, we went over the equation for both the circle and ellipse, how to determine the center, how to determine the radius, and how to determine major and minor axis. In chemistry we covered molar mass, mass to moles conversion and using Avogadro's number."
"The student has answered and reviewed all the questions in his Math Assessment workbook. We spent time working on analyzing bar graphs and solving problems related to the bar graph. The student did very well today. He identified the important information, showed his work, which helped him to choose the correct operations and the correct answers."
"We reviewed perimeter and area for his test tomorrow. He went through calculating perimeter and area based on shapes as well as word problems. He understands how to calculate both, as well as how to reorganize areas to create new shapes (which he's learned in his French Math class)."
