Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I met for the first time on Wednesday. He had a math test coming up on the topic of graphing linear equations, so we reviewed a packet of problems that he had completed in class. By the end of our lesson, he was able to complete the problems on his own and verbally justify his steps. I was impressed with how quickly and thoroughly he was able to answer my questions and do the problems himself in the end. We also worked through his physics homework on forces and Newton's Laws."
"We covered infinite series. The student and I specifically focused on various tests for when a series converges (or diverges). We also covered polar coordinates using integration to calculate area."
"Reviewed worksheets for a day the student was absent and discussed and practiced writing equations from word problems."
"The student completed her homework assignment on positive exponents. She had to simplify exponents in various scenarios. We then worked ahead and went over 0 exponents and negative exponents."
"We reviewed for a Math quiz. I gave the student a math technique for fractions, and did ELA HW. The student did very well!"
"We covered rational functions and systems of equations among other general topics as part of a unit review."
