"The student and I covered more rotational kinematics from his first quiz. I suggested he review some crucial formulas before his exam tomorrow."
"The student and I focused the first half of our session on her chemistry coursework. We covered some conceptual background on Dalton's Law and connected those ideas to her lab assignment. Since we had covered all of the gas law concepts last week and continued covering them this week, it seemed that the student was really understanding the material. We then went on to completing her Spanish homework. I practiced the vocabulary from her Spanish book with her, which was focused on the theme of 'going places' such as 'the beach, the park, going to a party', etc. We also briefly covered numbers in Spanish. Next week, we will have much more to cover for her chemistry class and can continue going over concepts and doing practice problems as well as her assignments."
"In this session we worked on both chemistry and geometry. In chemistry we worked through limiting reagents which the student now understands. He was given a worksheet for homework that he completed. In the future I will bring more practice on limiting and excess reagents so that he can solidify the concept in his mind for the test. For geometry we worked through different conjectures and properties of parallelograms. Next session we still have more to review for this but sessions have been going very well and he has been making leaps and bounds in his education."
