Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered a few more chapters in the book and reviewed some practice problems and homework. The student will work on some practice problems and review by himself."
"I helped the student study for her final by reviewing her practice test with her. We went over logs, fractions, and algebra skills."
"We covered the power rule for integration and integration by substitution. The student still needs more practice with the methods so that he can recognize when to use them. I will send him practice problems home, and we will continue to practice these methods in the next session. Everything went well."
"We finished going through the concepts for her test. This session we covered complex numbers (i), logarithms and interquartile range. We also reviewed a few of the concepts we covered previously. Next session we will review everything once more, and go over anything she is still having trouble with."
"We covered multiplication tables, long and short division, how to identify all factors of a given number, and the difference between prime and composite numbers. The student all questions correctly without prompting and appeared genuinely interested in solving the problems he was assigned for homework. He was left with several practice problems for our next session."
"The student and I first worked on handwriting and sight words. He traced the alphabet with upper and lower case letters. He did well with the sight words. We then worked on subtraction math facts. We also reviewed re-grouping and he quickly remembered how to approach these problems. He did great today!"
