Daniel

One method of teaching won't work for every student, but there is always at least one way of presenting information and explaining concepts that will stick in a student's mind. I pride myself on being able to quickly identify which method works for different students and tailoring my teaching style to meet a particular student’s needs.

I graduated with a degree in English from the University of California – Los Angeles. I spent a year in Thailand teaching introductory English to middle and high school aged students. I also worked after school hours with the students who were having an especially hard time in class, and spent time teaching some of their parents and other school faculty members as well. I've tutored friends and classmates in virtually every subject throughout high school and college, and was sought out in particular for help with essays and tests. I know that my work isn’t done until the students feel comfortable doing the work by themselves, and that only comes from fully understanding the concepts being taught.
