I am a rising 3rd-year student at The University of Texas at Austin. I am currently studying to receive my B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
I became interested in tutoring when family members and friends reached out to me for help in preparing for the SAT and a wide range AP exams. When I realized that my skill set in math and science could be used to help others achieve their fullest academic potential, I started to look into tutoring. For the past year, I have been tutoring students, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the process teaching.
My teaching philosophy is to instill in my students the same spark, and the same "a-ha" moments that make me passionate about learning. To do this, I incorporate my students current knowledge, interests, and future goals into my customized teaching strategy. I have found that relating academic material to ideas that a student can relate to catalyzes the process of learning.
In my free time, I like to play guitar, travel, watch sports, or just relax with friends at Barton Creek or Zilker Park.
