Two of my greatest passions are mathematics and working with students. I am so grateful to be able to do both on daily basis. I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics with an Emphasis in Secondary Education. I then got my Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Regis University. The way I see it, my degrees give me both mathematical content knowledge and the skills to teach concepts well! I have been teaching middle school and high school math professionally for 7 years and have been tutoring for much longer than that. I have worked with all types of students with varying age ranges, mathematical capabilities, and learning styles.
Math has always made sense to me, and I strive to help others gain that same feeling of understanding and confidence. I know that all students may not love math as much as do, but it is my goal to make sure no student fears math!
